As a philanthropy advisor, Brandy works with a portfolio of donors to help them achieve their philanthropic goals. Brandy brings over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector and a passion for social justice.
Prior to joining SVCF, Brandy was the director of a nonprofit that provides free legal services for low-income immigrant communities in Los Angeles. As a lawyer and policy advocate, Brandy has a long history of experience in the fields of domestic violence and child abuse. She also worked with California labor unions to negotiate and advocate for family-friendly workplace policies including family leave and paid sick days. Brandy holds a Juris Doctor degree from University of Southern California and is a member of the California Bar. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from University of California Irvine and a certificate in nonprofit management from University of California Los Angeles.
A native of Central California, Brandy lives in Mountain View and enjoys spending time outdoors with family.
